A few things guests often ask before their first session at the forge.
Not at all. Every drop-in and campaign session includes a resident host who teaches the rules from scratch and paces the game to your table. Most first-timers are comfortably playing within the first fifteen minutes.
Walk-ins are welcome whenever we have open tables, but weekends and evenings fill quickly. We recommend reserving a table online or by phone at +61 3 9663 8132 to guarantee a spot and your preferred session length.
Yes. We keep a shelf of gateway titles ideal for newcomers and younger players, and the room is deliberately quiet and low-lit. Children are welcome until 8:00pm when accompanied by an adult.
Every session price covers your table time, full access to our 1,200-title library, host guidance, and unlimited herbal tea and filtered coffee. Painting sessions also include primed miniatures, brushes, and paints.
We do. Our back Forge room seats up to twelve and can be hired for birthdays, team offsites, or tournaments. Private hire includes a dedicated host, a curated game selection, and an optional grazing board from a Flinders Lane kitchen.
